Welcome to Two Hearts Community Development

Contact Us

For the last two years, Two Hearts Community Development has been building integrated supportive service networks that enhance and stabilize housing options for chronically homeless seniors, Veterans, and families.

Whether we are focused on emergency/temporary housing, supportive affordable housing, or even rapid rehousing of those who are housing insecure, it is important that each resident gets the appropriate level of care needed for successful permanent rehousing.

The success of this approach hinges on multidisciplinary training of caregivers, alignment with the needs of residents over time, and close integration with housing development support staff.

While many non-profits play important roles in the affordable housing continuum, Two Hearts is focused on how communities can link existing supportive service resources in new, innovative ways that strengthen our networks of service providers.

Who We Are:

Two Hearts Community Development is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, originally developed with support from Two Sparks Development. Its original objective was to provide non-profit oversite of affordable housing development.
As a much larger need for integrated supportive services was identified throughout the Northern Nevada community, Two Hearts shifted and expanded its focus to work on developing supportive services for the affordable housing community at large.
